Dr. Christina Lancioni is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, USA. She is an infectious diseases specialist and physician -scientist, providing clinical care to children hospitalized with severe infectious

Diseases. Her current research focuses on the intersections between early life immunity and vulnerability to infectious diseases, specifically Tuberculosis, as well as the role of nutrition in shaping pediatric immunity. Dr. Lancioni has collaborated for over 15 years with Uganda-based investigators on studies focusing on the immunobiology of Tuberculosis, as well as several recent studies focusing on identifying determinants of survival for infants hospitalized during the first 2 months of life.
